Share of monthly salary spent on Tet among consumers in Vietnam 2018-2021
As surveyed in 2021, around 43 percent of respondents in Vietnam would spend from 31 to 50 percent of their monthly salary for Tet, which was the most popular response. On the other hand, five percent intended to spend at least all of their monthly salary on this occasion. By comparison, approximately eight percent of the questioned consumers in 2018 would spend 100 percent of their monthly salary or more for this holiday.
