In Spain, mobile users drastically reduced their mobility to work during the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), with studies registering figures of almost 70 percent less commuting during the official lockdown in March and April 2020. This trend extended, to a lesser extent, into the year 2021, with data showing a work mobility reduction of up to 40 percent as of January 2021.
