According to a survey conducted in 2020 in Australia about digital consumer trends, 47 percent of respondents aged 18 to 24 had purchased a new device as a result of spending more time at home in lockdown. The survey was conducted in June and July, when most of the country was coming out of their first COVID-19 lockdown.
