
COVID-19 mortality rate in Tunisia 2020-2021, by age group
From the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic to January 10, 2021, people aged 75 years and older registered the highest mortality rate in Tunisia, at 557.7 deaths per 100,000 people. In general, the mortality rate increased proportionally with the age. The old population was indeed among the most vulnerable categories to the novel coronavirus.
