Share of sales by agricultural cooperatives in Kenya 2019
As of 2019, cooperatives account for nearly 47 percent of coffee sales to marketed production in Kenya. By the same year, the country had over 600 coffee societies. Cooperatives also contributed with a large share of pyrethrum sales, some 67 percent.
