Value of the Sovereign Grant in the UK 2011-2023
The value of the Sovereign Grant, the annual payment to the British Monarchy from the UK government was 86.3 million British pounds for the 2023/24 financial year, the same as in the previous two financial years. Between 2016/17 and 2017/18, the Sovereign Grant increased by more than 33 million pounds, largely due to renovations to Buckingham Palace.
