Share of people who smoke tobacco daily in Romania 2019, by residence area and age
Overall, tobacco consumption in urban areas in Romania was higher than in rural areas. In 2019, 4.3 percent of people over 75 years old who lived in urban environments smoked tobacco daily, compared to only 2.5 percent in countryside areas.
