This statistic depicts the result of a survey on the distribution of cigarette smokers in Italy from 2014 to 2019, by consumption range. According to the data, most of the smokers declared to consume from ten to 19 cigarettes per day, during all the years considered. As of 2019, 34.6 percent of the respondents had the habit to smoke up to nine cigarettes per day, while 42.8 percent of them smoked 10-19 cigarettes per day and 21.2 of them used to consume more than 20 cigarettes daily.
