Value of food retail sales in Morocco 2020, by category
Retail sales of food in Morocco reached a value of nearly 13 billion U.S. dollars in 2020, according to forecasts. Bakery and cereal products were the main items sold by the retail food industry in the country. This category was projected to accumulate an approximate amount of 3.1 billion U.S. dollars in sales in 2020. Moreover, retail sales of dairy and soy-based products, and meat were estimated at a value of 2.02 billion U.S. dollars and 2.01 billion U.S. dollars, respectively.
