According to the European health survey, the age group with the highest percentage of individuals diagnosed with chronic anxiety amongst men were those above the age of 85, with approximately 4.5 percent. For their female counterparts, the highest share was found among the ages of 65 and 74 with 11. 4 percent in Spain in 2020.
