In August 2020, decision makers across the United States and Canada were surveyed about the most transformative technology preferences in the food service industry. A majority of respondents, 59 percent, stated that integrating physical, digital, and mobile shopping experiences was the most transformative technology preference. Meanwhile, only one percent of respondents stated that reducing energy costs through sustainable technologies was the most transformative.
