From the graduating year 2016 to the graduating year 2019, the percentage of female graduates in physical science-related degrees in the United Kingdom (UK) has increased by three percent. Other science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) subjects, such as mathematical sciences, engineering and tech, and computer science, have not seen such an increase over the years examined. Share of female graduates is the lowest when it comes to subjects such as engineering and tech as well as computer science, staying at around 15 percent of overall number of graduates in these subjects.
