During a 2021 survey conducted among more than 2,500 consumers in the United States, approximately 46 percent said they used their mobile phone to search for information about a product while shopping in-store. Moreover, the same percentage indicated using this device for price comparisons at a store.

The study was conducted by combining Foresight Factory's proprietary data methodologies and existing trends intelligence, with newly commissioned quantitative and qualitative research across 12 global markets, including 2,506 U.S. respondents, in May 2021, with interlocking quotas set for age and gender.
