
Social referrals to e-commerce sites in Italy 2022, by device
In the fourth quarter of 2022, 10 percent of visits to e-commerce websites in Italy came from social media referrals, with a slightly higher rate than the global average. Smartphones contributed the most, as 13 percent of their traffic to e-commerce sites was generated from social media links. Meanwhile, of all visits made via desktop computers, only one percent had social networks as a source.
