China's share of cement production worldwide 2015-2020

China is by far the world's largest producer of cement. China's share of global cement production has been gradually increasing in recent years: in 2020, it accounted for a 57.2 percent share of the global production volume of cement, compared to 51.4 percent of production in 2015.

The global cement production volume amounted to 4.17 billion metric tons in 2020.
