Value of tea exported from Indonesia 2021, by country
In 2021, Indonesia exported around 11.7 million U.S. dollars worth of tea to Malaysia. Indonesia is currently the world's seventh largest tea producer and the country exports most of its production. Fermented black tea accounts for more than 80 percent of Indonesia's tea exports.
