According to a survey among adult internet users in Spain in the 3rd quarter of 2021, around 66.6 percent of respondents expressed concern about what was real or fake on the internet. About 52.2 percent of respondents expressed concern about how companies used their personal data. More than 40 percent stated that they deleted cookies from their browsers at least some of the time, while 38 percent used some form of ad-blocking, and only a fifth of them used a virtual network (VPN) to access the internet.
