According to a survey carried out in 2021, nearly half of all health ministry respondents from low-and-lower-middle-income countries reported not receiving international funds to support their national health and climate change work. Meanwhile, close to one-third of health authorities from low-income nations mentioned they obtained international funds for implementing their strategies. National health and climate change plans are meant to consider health risks related to climate change and provide a framework for better adaptation.
