Global selenium production volume 2020, by country
The country with the largest selenium output in 2020 was China, at 1,120 metric tons. This was followed by Japan and Germany, with a production volume of 740 and 300 metric tons of selenium, respectively. That same year, the global production of selenium amounted to approximately 3.33 thousand metric tons worldwide.
