Types of social media accounts followed in Ghana 2022
Social media accounts of family, friends, and acquaintances were the most followed by internet users aged 16-64 years in Nigeria, according to a survey conducted in the third quarter of 2022. Roughly 40 percent of the respondents cited that they followed this type of account. Moreover, around 32 percent of the internet users indicated following TV shows or channels, while some 29 percent followed entertainment and meme accounts.
