Consumers who canceled or took out a new subscription 2022, by country
According to a May 2022 study, consumers worldwide were canceling subscriptions nearly twice as fast as they were taking out new ones. In Mexico, for instance, 45 percent of respondents reported canceling at least one subscription in the previous month, versus 27 percent who said they had subscribed to at least a single new one in that period. In both the United States and the UK, 29 percent of consumers had terminated a current membership.
