Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the e-sports game with the most professional players in Russia. In total, 849 players from Russia competed in professional tournaments in that discipline as of February 2023. Dota 2 followed with more than 560 professional participants. The highest earning Dota 2 player from Russia was Miposhka, having earned more than four million U.S. dollars in prize money.
