According to a survey conducted in Japan in June 2023, 72.9 percent of boys and 62.8 percent of girls aged 15 to 19 years old were to varying degrees inclined to use the OpenAI chatbot ChatGPT in the future. While this age group had the highest share of people who were interested in using ChatGPT among male respondents, women in their twenties showed a slightly higher interest in the chatbot than teenage girls.
