Japan: places where consumers want to use tap to pay credit cards 2022

According to a survey conducted in Japan in July 2022, supermarkets were the most common places where consumers wanted to use the tap to pay function of their credit cards. While around 51 percent of respondents intended to use their contactless cards at supermarkets, 44.5 percent wanted to make payments at convenience stores.
