Number of workers emigrating and considering emigrating from South Africa 2022
As of 2022, over four percent of South Africans who are working, responded in a survey that they were emigrating imminently. When utilizing this information together with the actual number of employed persons in the country, we can deduce that an estimated 625,560 workers left South Africa in 2022 . A further 14 percent of the working population is seriously considering emigrating.
