Apple Pay acceptance by e-commerce vendors in 20 countries between 2022 and 2024

Predictions are that nine out of 10 e-commerce vendors in India will offer Apple Pay on their website come 2024. This is according to a survey held in early 2022, asking e-commerce professionals on which payment method they are already offering and which ones they hope to either add or not add in the future. Noticeable are both the different starting positions as well as the future intent of Apple Pay implementation. English speaking countries - especially the United States - tend to already accept Apple Pay in 2022. Brazil was a focus country for both Apple and Google, as it is the largest market in Latin America. Within Europe - with the exception of the UK - the acceptance of Apple Pay is higher in Italy and the Netherlands than in France and, especially, Germany.
