In the second quarter of 2023, horse racing, represented by the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes, had the highest share of viewing time on cable, satellite, and over-the-air platforms among selected sporting events, at 84.3 percent in the United States. Golf, specifically The Masters tournament, was also more popular among traditional TV viewers than among streaming consumers.
