Share of people identifying as LGBTQI+ in France 2023, by generation
According to a survey conducted in March 2023 in France 10 percent of the total population identified as part of the LGBTQI+ community. However, some important differences are to be noted when comparing different generations. For instance, only four percent of Boomers we identified as being LGBTQI+, while 22 percent of the population's youngest group, Gen Z, claimed to be part of the community.
