Great Britain: Local bus fare index from 2005 to 2023
While prices for consumer goods in Great Britain have generally risen, local public bus fares have continuously risen above the CPI for all items in the period from 2007 to 2023. In the last few years, price increases have slowed, largely due to the introduction of fare-capping policies to address the cost of living crisis.
