Interest in super apps by market 2023

According to a survey of consumers conducted between October and November, 2023, almost nine in 10 respondents in Indonesia reported they would be interested in using a super app. Super apps are smartphone applications that offer several services within one unified interface. The Chinese-developed WeChat is the best known example of super app, as it allows users to message, make video and voice call, as well as acting as an online payment app and a point of sale for small businesses.
