About This Statistic
This statistic shows the most popular web browsers in Canada in the second quarter of 2017, based on market share. During that period, 8.95 percent of Canadian internet users accessed the web through Microsoft's Internet Explorer, while Apple's Safari ranked second with a 29.32 percent market share. With Google holding the largest share of internet searches executed by Canadians in early 2017, it comes as no surprise the Chrome has the highest result among popular internet browsers in the country. When it comes to mobile browsers, however, the situation is reversed, with Safari ranking first in terms of popularity.
