Ransomware victimization rate among businesses worldwide 2018-2022
In 2022, around 70 percent of businesses were victimized by ransomware. This was an increase from the previous five years and the highest figure reported so far. Overall, more than half of the total survey respondents each year stated that their employer had been victimized by ransomware.
