The development of the reserve assets of the Eurozone fluctuated during the period from 1999 to 2021, but increased significantly overall. The highest value was observed in 2021, when around 1057 billion euros of reserve assets were held by the Eurozone. This was an approximately 177.29 billion euros worth of increase compared to the previous year.
