Fluctuation of the ECB interest rate on deposit facilities 2008-2022
The European Central Bank (ECB) interest rate on deposit facilities fluctuated significantly between 2008 and 2022. It was the highest at 3.25 percent in July 2008, and the lowest at -0.5 percent in September 2019. Between September 2019 and July 2022, it remained unchanged at -0.5 percent. On July 27, 2022, the ECB increased the rate to 0 percent.
