Wine production in the United Kingdom (UK) 2000-2018

This statistic shows the total production volume of wine in the United Kingdom annually from 2000 to 2016. In 2018, there were 117,000 hectoliters of wine were produced in the UK. This is a substantial increase over the output from the previous year when less than half of this volume was achieved. It is the first time that UK wine production surpassed 50,000 hectoliters. A further increase, due to worldwide climate change can be expected since conditions will probably improve for growing wine in the UK.
