Business sector CO2 emissions in the United Kingdom (UK) 2000-2018

Since 2000, carbon dioxide emissions from the business sector declined. In the period of consideration, figures decreased by roughly 39 percent, from the peak at 108.7 to 65.9 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. The same trend was observed in the overall business GHG emissions, as the main source of GHG is the carbon dioxide gas.
