Music retailers by type UK 2013-2022

A study from 2023 on the music retailers in the UK showed that in 2022 only 122 specialist chains were selling music. In terms of supermarkets, 1,754 stores also had music in their product line, while 426 independent stores were selling music. Compared to the previous year, this meant an increase in independent store and a decrease in supermarket sold music.
