Percentage change in income of the music industry in Italy H1 2020, by sector
In the first half of 2020, subscriptions to audio streaming services recorded the highest percentage increase in income of the music industry in Italy. This sector's profit rose by almost 34 percent compared to the first half of 2019. By contrast, the market value of CDs decreased by over 51 percent. Similarly, the income from the vinyl sector dropped by roughly 37 percent.
