The Swedish e-commerce market has been growing in this period and generated a revenue of 4,93 billion Swedish kronor in 2015. That corresponded to a growth rate of 15,5 percent compared to the e-commerce revenue in Sweden in 2014. The online retail revenue was forecasted to grow even more and reach 6,7 billion euros in 2017. Average online spending has also shown a steady increase and in 2015, average spending on online shopping per capita amounted to 514,58 euros in Sweden. In 2017, the e-commerce market growth rate is estimated to be at 16,8 percent compared to 2016 and the average amount spent per person should reach almost 700 euros in Sweden.
