Supplementary notes

* The results are based on records from several thousand households, which were projected to the basic totality.

The figures are a result of the ongoing economic calculations (LWR) of the German Census Bureau. The ongoing economic calculations (LWR) include a random sample, for which 8,000 households are annually surveyed nationally. The survey includes only those households which, due to advertising measures of state Census Bureaus and the German Census Bureau, were prepared to volunteer the information requested in the survey documents. Households of the self-employed (craftspeople and self-employed farmers) were not included in the survey.
