This statistic outlines the distribution of the number of employees in the oil and gas industry worldwide who have been laid off in the 12 months between November 2014 and November 2015. During that period of time, 31 percent of survey respondents said that less than 50 employees had been laid off at the company that they work for, and ten percent of respondents said that between 501 and 1,000 employees had been laid off at the company that they work for.
