About This Statistic
This statistic shows the results of a survey on the share of smartphone users in Finland in 2017. According to the survey, nearly 90 percent of respondents had a smartphone. Merely one percent was unable to tell if their phone was a smartphone or not.
The results of a survey on whether respondents owned a smartphone were also divided by gender and by age group. According to the survey, the share of smartphone users was higher in younger age groups, especially in the age range of 15 to 34, compared to the older ones. The surveyed individuals consisted of 1,005 Finns aged from 15 to 74 years. However, the results have been weighted to represent the whole population of Finland.
