Total value of selling prices of houses in the Netherlands 1995-2017 This statistic shows the total value of selling prices of houses in the Netherlands from 1995 to 2017 (in million euros). The total value of selling prices concerns existing real estate bought by private individuals. In 2017, the total value of selling prices equaled an amount of approximately 63.7 billion euros. This is the highest value reached since 1995.
In recent years, the housing market has continued to rise in the Netherlands due to low mortgage rates, a recovering economy and a high level of consumer confidence. In 2018, housing prices are forecasted to increase with six percent.
