As of 2018, the rate of overweight was lowest among people under 18 years of age in the Netherlands. Just under 12 percent of people aged between 4 and 18 years old were overweight in 2018. Meanwhile the rate of overweight among members of the population aged between 70 and 74 was highest, at roughly 63 percent.
