China's bastnasite production forecast 1990-2050
This statistic displays the production forecast of bastnäsite in China from 1990 to 2050, with actual figures for the period between 2000 and 2010. Bastnäsite is a group of three carbonate-fluoride minerals, each composed of different combinations of the rare earth elements cerium, lanthanum, and yttrium in combination with carbonate-fluoride. Using the Generalized Weng model, it was calculated that China's production of bastnäsite in 1990 was approximately 141.80 tons. It is forecast that by 2050 the bastnäsite production in China will be some 9,321.69 tons.
