Europe: aggregated total revenue of top division football clubs 1996-2021
This statistic displays the aggregated total revenue of European top division football clubs from 1996 to 2021. In 2020, UEFA estimates that European top division football clubs generated a total revenue of approximately 20.7 billion Euros. The first time within the study period wherein the aggregated total revenue experienced a decline, as a result of the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic containment measures. UEFA is the administrative body for the union of the national football associations in Europe. In 2017/2018, UEFA registered a total revenue of 2.8 billion euro.
