The statistic shows the perspectives on the media as a friend or enemy of the American people in the United States as of August 2018, sorted by age group. According to the survey, 15 percent of respondents aged 30 to 44 believed that the media was an enemy of the people, compared to 24 percent of those aged 65 years old or above.
