Turnover of Italian fashion company Moschino in 2011-2018

In 2018, the turnover of Moschino S.p.A. reached a value of 60.7 million euros. This figure increased steadily since 2012 when it was equal to 39.8 million euros. Despite registering a positive trend in turnover, Moschino S.p.A. could not turn up a profit in 2018. According to financial data, the company experienced a net loss of approximately 74 thousand euros. 

AEFFE Group

  The brand Moschino belongs to the Italian fashion Group AEFFE. The Group, which designs, produces and distributes fashion products such as ready-to-wear, footwear, leather goods, lingerie and beachwear, registered a turnover of 352 million euros in 2018. AEFFE Group owns several brands, among which Moschino registered the highest sales value in 2018, accounting for more than 70 percent of the Group’s total sales value. 

More domestic rather than outward-looking

  The Group’s brands, which include Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy and Moschino among others, seem to be very popular in Italy. As a matter of fact, AEFFE Group’s sales in the domestic market amounted to almost 1.7 billion euros, accounting for just under 50 percent of the total. In comparison, for example, sales in America amounted to about 18 million euros. Compared to other Italian fashion companies which rely heavily on sales abroad, in general, AEFFE Group appears to be more focused on the domestic market.
