Global residential prices for natural gas by select country 2022
European countries have some of the highest natural gas prices for households worldwide. Natural gas prices for households vary greatly around the world, depending on governmental levies, taxes, as well as local production. In the Netherlands, prices averaged 0.41 U.S. dollars per kilowatt hour in March 2022, whilst prices in Canada, a producer of natural gas, were just 0.03 U.S. dollars per kilowatt hour.
