This statistic shows the occasions for drinking tea, coffee or coffee beverages among U.S. consumers in 2017, by age group. During the survey, 32 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years reported drinking hot beverages while on the go, as opposed to 22 percent of respondents aged 60 years or over who said the same.
